Mostly recommended for developers only, this plugin has loads of features that allow you to add additional custom metadata entry to post edit screen.

Want to replace the older post – newer post navigation on home page, then you should try this plugin. This tiny plugin will add good looking pagination buttons which is highly customizable and responsive.
To me, this plugin must be in your “must have wordpress plugin” list, because Pagination plays an important role in avoiding duplicate content issues. This plugin is widely suggested by top SEO experts in the industry.
4. Revision Control
Each time you edit the post, it result in revision auto saved in the database. This plugin will gives you more control over revision functionality, allow you to enable/disable/limit the number of revision that auto save in your database.
5. What Would Seth Godin Do
This plugin uses cookies to distinguish between the new users vs. the return visitors of your site, and displays the “custom welcome message” you set to new users and another to return visitors.
One can use this plugin to encourage signup with newsletter, or RSS feed, or to display a personal greeting.
6. Widget controller
A simple plugin that uses simple interface with check boxes that allows you to dynamically adjust widgets that appears in your blog. By default, same widgets will be displayed in all of your page including home page, but by using this plugin you can hide /show widgets in specific pages or post which gives you full control over widget functionality.
7. Swiftype Search
It’s a good alternative and replacement to tradition Google search box which we use in our blogs. It is fast, intelligent and highly customizable search for your site that comes with detailed analytics and controls.
It gives you detailed insights of what keywords your users are searching in your site, so you can able to customize the search engine results according to the keywords which will result in high CTR and low bounce rate.
8. TinyMCE Advanced
An enhanced version of built-in default WYSIWYG editor, which gives you extra features, such as option to add HTML tables, options to insert list, change font family and size.
