Thought about creating Chrome extensions but don’t know how to get start with the development? Well, I got a good news. Extensionizr is a boilerplate for creating Chrome extensions without the need of coding from scratch.
Extensionizr has pretty nifty options like changing Extension type, background page, option page, override, content scripts, misc addons like omnibox support, adding jQuery and Angular.js. Also you can choose the permissions for your extension. Finally hit the download button to download the extension skeleton.
By far this is the easiest way to create Chrome extensions in minutes. I wish I had tool a year ago when I was interested in Chrome extension development.
