With almost a year we have been sticking with the same theme, we have been thinking for a redesign for quite a months back. We made many mockup layout, but nothing really inspired us and at last our last attempt on the mid of April which yielded this design. Previously you can see us focusing on Blogger, WordPress and sometimes on Tumblr too, but from now on, we are a web design and web development blog focusing on things that’s related to it.
Before getting deeper into the theme features, the credit of this theme design also goes to our Co-Editor – Rethnaraj Rambabu for this incredible support and putting up his CSS3 skills in shaping up the design. Thanks brother 🙂
So whats in our new design? Well let me take a walk around on our new template features
The Mighty Platform
Bloggermint runs on WordPress 3.1.2 with our custom made HTML5 theme named as Bloggermint V2. Even thought HTML5 is not widely used in blogs, we loved its features and the future of web with it.
Wider Appeal
Wider look with 1190px in width for the new age monitors. I am sure most of the designer and developers are having the wider screen monitors. So if you have low resolution monitor? We are sorry 🙁
Footer Design
We are so keen on our footer design which should appeal both simplicity and elegance. If you ask me, we took nearly 4 days to finish us this footer in a way it should match the whole theme design.
CSS3 Subscribe Box
Our Subscribe box is made out with CSS3, except the image used for the social icons, its full powered by the mighty CSS3.
Three Column Inner Post
Since we release a lot of free templates and tutorials, we ideally want to bar dedicated for displaying the live demo, download. If you look at our left sidebar, we tried our best to make it look simple and in the same ways easily along with a floating share box.
Comment box
We loved it and I hope you too love it. Comment box are vital for every blog. If you have a good commenting system, it may increase the chances of getting more comments from your valuable readers. Since we believed in it, we got this beautiful comment box design. Sorry if I am self-praising.
I don’t want to talk more. Go play around with our new design and report us here, if there is any bug.
Note: The website is not optimized for IE lesser than 9. So we recommend using Safari, Chrome, Opera or Firefox for the best viewing experience.
